Why Adopt a Kennel?
You can help support animals at the Upland Animal Shelter by sponsoring a kennel, room, or play yard of your choice.
When you adopt a kennel, a “paw print” sign with your business name will be affixed to the kennel, room, or play yard for an entire calendar year. Plus, you will receive your own personalized certificate thanking you for your contribution.
Kitten or Cat Kennel Sponsorship of $300 per year for a 3-inch by 3-inch sign.
Puppy Kennel Sponsorship of $400 per year for a 4-inch by 4-inch sign.
Dog Kennel Sponsorship of $500 per year for a 6-inch by 6-inch sign.
Dog Room, Cat Room, or Play Yard Sponsorship of $2,500 per year for an 8-inch by 8-inch sign
Sponsor an Animal
Animal lovers are always asking if there is some way they can help the animals at the shelter. Sponsoring an animal is one way to help.
We invite you to come to Upland Animal Shelter at 1275 San Bernardino Road in Upland (or click on the links on the website’s front page) to pick that dog or cat you would LOVE to adopt but can’t, and then donate towards their adoption. That animal that you want so much to go home will have a better chance of finding that forever home.
Do you need a suggestion on who to sponsor? Dogs and cats ages 6+ are sometimes hard to place in loving, forever homes. There are always senior animals needing a helping hand.
How does your donation help?
That animal that you want so much to go to a loving home will have a better chance of finding a forever home. Your donation will help pay for their medical care, food, and it can reduce adoption costs for someone who is ready to adopt now.
Not sure who to sponsor?
If you haven’t selected a particular animal to adopt, we do have some suggestions for you. While all our animals need the help of friends like you, dogs and cats ages 6+ are sometimes hard to place in loving, forever homes. We have many senior animals who need a helping hand. Honor/remember someone special
Recognize someone special or honor the memory of a loved one (person or pet) with a memorial gift to Friends of Upland Animal Shelter. Making a gift in tribute of a person, animal or special occasion is a wonderful way to show you care about your loved ones. And, your donation is a thoughtful way to help us care for all the lost and abandoned animals at the shelter.
To make your donation, simply select “Yes” next to the “In Honor or Memory” field in the form below and tell us about the person or pet you are honoring or remembering. We will send a certificate or memorial card letting them or their family know that you donated on their behalf.
You also have the option to choose how you want us to use your donation. For example, you can select one of the following:
Where it helps the most; FUrst Aid Campaign; grooming & animal care fund; medical & spay/Neuter Fund, Eagle Scout Project, Betty White Challenge, Giving Tuesday
You can even choose to remember your loved one by being an annual sponsor.
Memorial & Friendship Tiles
Tile Details
- Each tile is 6 by 6-inches in size.
- Each tile can have one image of your choice.
- Tiles can have up to two lines of 20 characters each.
- Cost is $100 for two tiles; one to display and one for a keepsake.

Our Thrift Shop Wish List

Donate to Our Medical Fund
Many of our animals require some level of medical care during their stay with us. From routine medications for irritating skin conditions to emergency surgery for life-threatening conditions, the costs can be significant and add up quickly. Adequate medical care in not only essential for our animals, it makes them more adoptable, which means they find their forever homes sooner.
Make a donation and select "Medical & Spay/Neuter Fund" and your donation will be devoted to medical services and supplies.
Donate to Our Grooming Fund
Some of our dogs are in such poor condition that they need professional grooming. Trimming fur, removing mats, trimming nails, cleaning ears, and other grooming measures are essential in keeping them healthy and comfortable. Good grooming also helps make dogs more adoptable, which means they find their forever homes sooner.
